The newest Bidder is a product of the Iowa City music scene and a proud public school teacher. He has played with Rich for over 20 years as a member of the Rich Webster Band and other projects. He's a music teacher in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
Dave O'Connor
Guitar and vocals
Dave learned his chops on the Iowa City music scene playing with Scott Cochran in Flannel and the Muckrockers. He played on the first Muckrockers record. He's a proud, retired, public school teacher.
Mac Stanfield
Bass, guitar and vocals
Mac was a member of the seminal 80's roots rock band Scruffy The Cat, a Boston-based college radio favorite that released several albums for Relativity Records. Before Scruffy, he was a founding member of The Law--one of Iowa's first Punk bands. He's a practicing lawyer in Des Moines.
Rich Webster
Guitar, bass, keyboards and vocals
Rich is a two-time inductee to the Iowa Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and founding member of the legendary Eastern Iowa band Dogs on Skis. He also plays with The Rich Webster Band and the Dogfathers. Rich doesn't want anyone to know that he is a licensed attorney in the State of Iowa. His real job is as a therapist.
Upcoming Shows
Locals Bar and Stage
The Bidders make their first appearance at Locals Bar & Stage, 1433 Walnut Street. Rutabaga will open the show at 7:00 and we will follow them to close out the evening. This is a fantastic and relatively new venue in Des Moines with a mission to feature local bands and original music. They have good food, a full bar and good beers so come on out and support the mission.
